Unique Gifts And Collectors
As a collector of many things I love getting something unusual to add to one of my collections. I am very easy to buy for because most of the things I collect can be found in your local thrift store or junk sale. Birthdays and special occasions are times I look forward to gifts.

My friends and family love telling me the complete story of where they bought my gift from, how much it cost, and everything else that goes with the story. For my part, I love getting an old cork screw (yes, I collect old cork screws) that a friend or family member found in a junk shop and paid 50c or $1 for it. They are thrilled when I tell them it is worth 20 or thirty times what they paid for it, and I am thrilled to have it in my collection. Having the story that goes with the purchase also becomes part of the history attached to it.
I also collect vintage cameras. It's still possible to find vintage cameras in excellent condition at thrift stores and flea markets. My friends and family don't have my collecting bug but they do get a thrill adding to my collection.
